Exposure 3010s2

Rating: ★★★★★

Hot: Sometimes, a product comes along that has you asking why you should spend anything more – the 3010s2 is one such paradigm shifter. This integrated amp is speedy and articulate, with a sound that is alive and sparkling. It drives hard loads easily, thanks perhaps to the high gain (not always a good thing) on board. Revealing and riveting at once, the 3010s2 has the rhythm down pat and will stop on the proverbial dime if called on to do so. Such a natural presentation usually comes with a hefty price tag, but Exposure has kept this extremely wallet-friendly. Excellent build quality and design overall are the icing – simplicity in features means you can forget about messing around and get straight to enjoying the music.

Cold: Spartan cosmetics/features won’t appeal to all.

Encore: The term value-for-money is often bandied about too freely, but the 3010s2 lends it validity and credibility. A fabulous sounding amp that will stay with you for a long time. There a few more tempting bargains in integrated amp territory.

Specs: 110 watts per channel x 8 ohms / 6 line inputs (phono module optional) / 2 pairs of speaker terminals / Preamp output with Class A buffer stage / Remote control / Dimensions: 115 x 440 x 300mm (h/w/d), 12kg / Finish: Silver
