THE brand better known for its sleek digital amps and muscular Phantom wireless speakers now makes it personal with the Gemini noise-cancelling wireless earbuds, available for pre-order now at €299 a pair.

According to Devialet, the Geminis “provide superior, immersive sound thanks to adaptive signal tweaking that automatically fits your music to your ear shape… add in Devialet’s proprietary Active Noise Cancellation and enjoy a truly rich and enveloping listening experience.”

The Qualcomm aptX codec, which is claimed to deliver the latest, highest-quality Bluetooth audio, ensures hi-fi sound quality from the Geminis.

The earbuds are also designed to fit all sorts of ear types, and buyers can choose from the provided XS/S/M/L ear-tips for a comfy fit.

“The Devialet Gemini app only needs five seconds to determine which tips best suit your ears.”

Full control is at the user’s fingertips…”Gemini’s ergonomic shape has been carefully designed for effortless usability thanks to an all-in-one touch button at the rear: switch on the patented Active Noise Cancellation or Transparency modes, activate your voice assistant, play/pause your music, and more, all while enjoying a perfect fit, no matter your ear shape.”

You can activate Siri or Google Virtual Assistant at a touch, while the earbuds will “automatically deliver an adapted level of noise cancellation when you answer a call.”

There is a dedicated voice-call microphone for easy call connection. While on noise cancellation, three levels are available – low, high and plane.

The Geminis have an IPX4 rating, and so are resistant to dust and water splashes.

Pairing is hassle-free, and via the app, there is a six-band equaliser to tailor the music to your sonic preference.

As for the all-important battery life, a single charge allows six-to-eight hours of music playback and four-to-4.5 hours with voice calls. The dedicated charging case will allow you 24-plus of listening once fully charged up. The earbuds take 1.5 hours for a full charge, the case, 3.5 hours.

Devialet provides a three-year warranty for the Geminis, from the date of activation, along with coverage for one “accidental incident”.
