NAIM Audio was founded in 1973. Its legendary integrated amplifier, the NAIT 1, was released in 1983. What better year than 2023 to celebrate these important landmarks, and paying tribute to both with the NAIT 50. That familiar silver “bumper” should recall the golden age of British hi-fi.
The NAIT 50 is crafted in England and benefits from several technical improvements to the circuits, plus, there’s a headphone output now. In fact, it’s apparently a complete internal redesign.

“Our engineers have been sure to preserve the DNA of NAIT 1, whilst making technical improvements to the circuits thanks to their unique expertise,” Naim tell us.
“Some of the new features on this anniversary edition include a 6.35mm-jack headphone output, so you can enjoy all types of listening. Behind its sleek design, NAIT 50 also delivers top notch sound quality.”
The NAIT 50 delivers fully regulated 25 watts of power per channel into eight ohms (60W into two ohms), and has two DIN line inputs (oh dear…) plus an MM phono stage that uses a discrete transistor.

“The NAIT 50 combines power, performance and versatility, and reproduces the most exacting dynamics with all the confidence and authority we have come to expect from a Naim amplifier. It can be linked with all loudspeaker types, as well as a streamer, for the ultimate hi-fi system.”
So if the NAIT 50 gets your adrenalin rushing, don’t wait – only 1,973 units of this integrated amp will be made.
