IT’S back, the annual Kuala Lumpur International AV Show (KLIAV) and it promises more, along with a special CD for those attending the event.
KLIAV 2013, for the 13th year straight, will be held at the J.W. Marriott along Jalan Bukit Bintang, this time from July 5-7. It also marks two decades that chief organiser Dick Tan, of 3Dot Events, is bringing such a show to AV and hi-fi enthusiasts.
Last year, KLIAV produced its first ever limited edition CD just for the show, and follows it up this year with the Series Two Commemorative CD, to be given away to paying visitors. The material on the CD comes from the highest resolution masters possible.
KLIAV 2013 will also showcase AV technologies that are new to the Malaysian market – bigger, yet more affordable digital TVs with sizes exceeding 90 inches, 4K (4016 x 2160) Ultra HD resolution displays and such, apart from the latest hi-fi gear.
Audiophiles can expect both digital and analogue gear feasts, apart from accessories and lots of music material on vinyl and CD. One of the visiting luminaries is Andrew Jones, the chief designer for Pioneer.
More news as KLIAV gets close, and also stay tuned for our coverage. Show times are 10am to 7.30pm on all three days, and RM10 gets you into this AV world of wonders.
