Furutech releases new flagship NanoFlux cables

June 4, 2016 Written by The Editor

THE hi-fi systems of dedicated audiophiles demand nothing but the best, and Furutech believes its new NanoFlux NCF power and NanoFlux speaker cables fit the bill perfectly.

At the core of Furutech’s new top-of-the-line cables is the “Alpha Nano-Au-Ag” OCC conductor, which has gone through a highly-specialised manufacturing process. For starters, the conductors used have been both cryogenically treated and demagnetised, before being coated with a transmission enhancer, the Nano Liquid.

The Nano Liquid contains a mix of very fine gold and silver particles – due to its microscopic size, these smoothen and fill up any surface irregularities, thus providing a greater contact area.

The NanoFlux NCF power cables, Furutech says, also feature an “advanced double-layer insulation combined with a complex outer shield, damping layer and EMI-absorbing modules that reject external vibration and electromagnetic radiation”.

Mains plugs used are Furutech’s best – the NCF Piezo Ceramic Series connectors, award winners in their own right.

The NanoFlux speaker cables use the same base cable and are available in a choice of terminations – Furutech’s rhodium-plated, non-magnetic pure copper spades, the CF-201(R) or CF-202(R) banana connectors.

The NanoFlux-NCF power cable is available in a 1.8m length (£3,795) and the NanoFlux speaker cable in 2.5m-lengths (£4,995 per pair).
