Audioengine adds HD4 Bluetooth speakers to range

January 4, 2021 Leave a Comment Written by The Editor

FOR those who want to keep it simple, small and convenient, Audioengine has introduced a new tool – the HD4 wireless speakers.

“Designed to take on space limitations, the HD4 is the perfect upgrade where surfaces are minimal but performance and convenience can’t be compromised.

“As handsome as they are compact, the HD4 will easily fit in any small living space and blend in with any decor,” says the Audioengine literature.

The active, Bluetooth aptX-HD equipped speakers come with 30 watts (RMS) per channel of amplification onboard and are fuss-free to get going… and they’re not limited to wireless only.

“The HD4 offers wired or wireless connections including USB input from your computer, low-latency Bluetooth aptX-HD from your phone, or good old analogue from that vintage turntable or prized tape deck.

“No network setup, no passwords, no hassle.”

Each HD4 uses a four-inch Aramid fibre woofer and 3/4-inch silk-dome tweeter. The amplification is class AB and peaks at 60W per channel. USB, 3.5mm stereo mini-jack and RCA L/R inputs are provided for your wired sources.

A pair of HD4s retails for US$449.
