Audio Pro C10 speaker goes to MkII with expanded streaming functions

AUDIO Pro has added more features to its C10 (now MkII) multi-room wireless speaker for wider appeal – the new version comes with AirPlay 2 and Google Cast. There’s also the proprietary Audio Pro app on board.

This expansion of streaming capability for this Bluetooth/Wi-Fi speaker was a direct response to customer demand, the Swedish company tells us.

“This new triple function comes after customer feedback requested flexibility and choice in how they can enjoy audio via Audio Pro multi-room systems. Being able to connect Audio Pro speakers with others that use Google Cast or AirPlay 2 provides endless capabilities,” according to the company’s press release.

Apart from customising multi-room sound, the C10 MII’s appearance can also be changed according to tastes.

“Fixed with hidden magnets, the speaker’s mesh fabric front can be quickly removed to revert to Audio Pro’s classic look. Keep the covering on if you prefer a more understated, contemporary aesthetic.”

The C10 Mk II can also be connected directly to a turntable via its RCA input. As for digital, it will do MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC, Apple Lossless formats.

“The preset buttons have also been increased to six from its predecessor, allowing users to save and store their favourite playlists and radio stations for easy access whenever they please, without needing to reach for the Audio Pro app.

“Not only has the appearance been enhanced but its acoustics have also been improved, changing the design of the bass reflex port for better flow and updating a number of critical components inside.”

The C10 MkII retails for £360, and is available in Arctic White, Storm Grey or Coal Black finishes.
