Dali unveils the Rubikore series

May 10, 2024 Leave a Comment Written by The Editor

RENOWNED Scandinavian loudspeaker manufacturer Dali has launched its Rubikore range, comprising two floorstanders (“8” and “6”), a bookshelf (“2”), one on-wall and a centre-channel. The speakers feature Dali’s all-new 6.5-inch double magnet bass/midrange drivers, a new dome tweeter and audiophile crossover components.

“The Rubikore series incorporate numerous innovations inspired by cutting-edge Dali Kore technologies. At the heart of these advancements is the Clarity Cone technology bass/midrange driver diaphragm, ensuring an unparalleled natural midrange clarity devoid of any artificial coloration,” Dali informs us.

This, the company adds, is complemented by the Dali SMC motor systems to achieve minimal distortion and optimal performance efficiency.”

“The entire Rubikore series also introduces a new Low-Loss dome tweeter – which omits ferrofluid in the magnet gap – to achieve the highest resolution in high-frequency sound.”

Housing the drivers is the company’s renowned cabinet craftsmanship, which “goes beyond mere aesthetic appeal to offer a supremely rigid and inert foundation for the drivers”. The enclosures are all made in Denmark.

Available finishes include high-gloss black, high-gloss maroon, natural walnut and high gloss white.

The Rubikore Series will be in stores from June, with the following price tags: 8 – £5,999 ( per pair); 6 – £4,499 (pair); 2 – £2,299 (pair); On-Wall – £1,299 (per unit): and Cinema – £1,799 (per unit).
