New vinyl bling from Clearaudio

July 26, 2015 Written by Editor

THOSE looking to accessorise their vinyl systems will be glad to hear of some new Clearaudio gear available now.

First up is the Leather platter mat, all black and promising “optimal coupling to the platter and damping of unwanted resonances”… for a mere €99.

Still on the platter, we have the Dustprotector, which prevents accumulation of dust on the platter when the turntable is not in use… just €28.

Carrying around your LPs regularly? Then the Vinyl Travel Bag will interest you. This shoulder bag has an adjustable strap and metal feet, with room for up to 10 records.

It is made of canvas and natural leather for strength and durability. There’s a price to pay for quality, though… in this case, €490.

Two new record clamps (main pic) have been released, one the Innovation, which was developed for the Innovation series of turntables and can be used along with the tangential TT1-M1 tonearm. It weighs 740g, is available in black and silver, and retails for €490.

The Statement clamp, meanwhile, features “three-point resonance absorption technology, with bullet-proof wood and stainless steel sandwich construction.” It is also available in ebony and weighs 765g. The price is a princely €685.

Finally, there’s the upgrade kit for the Innovation turntables – a new flat belt and pulley, with installation tools. Just €219.
