THE new digital audio decoder from Wadia ensures the company stays at the forefront of the game – the di322 introduces support for DSD to the Wadia range.
A USB input accepts DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 music files, while PCM files with sampling rates of up to 32-bit/384kHz – including DXD 352.8kHz and DXD 384kHz formats – can also be played through it.
Two optical and coaxial inputs each will decode audio files with resolutions up to 24-bit/192kHz, and the DIN input is for link-up with future Wadia models to enhance performance.
Outputs include a pair each of variable balanced and unbalanced connections; headfi fans will welcome the high-power output in front for headphones.
There’s no shirking in the looks department either – the glass top and aluminium casing ensure a high WAF for the di322.
