Erzetich upgrades Mania and Phobos headphones

BOUTIQUE headphone manufacturer Erzetich Audio is upping the game on its acclaimed Mania and Phobos models, fine tuning them for enhanced sonic performance and improved comfort. Both are now in V2021 mode.

“Due to the popularity of the Mania and Phobos headphones, we decided to build on the qualities that make our headphones stand out – superior sound quality, innovative design and a comfortable fit.

“We’ve therefore tuned them to an even more controlled and clear sound, added new height settings, switched to a carbon fibre headband and, our cups are now created from linden wood and CNC machined aluminium rather than wood and stainless steel,” company founder Blaž Erzetič tells us.

“Our headphones are also now a bit lighter – our customers spoke and we listened… and delivered.”

The Mania is a dynamic design, while the Phobos is a planar-magnetic model.

Recognisable by their distinctive octagonal design, the Mania and Phobos headphones have achieved a cult following and the new updates should please followers, who include musicians Nile Rodgers, Bill Gould and Imogen Heap.

The new versions of the Mania and Phobos will be available in September.

The Slovenia-based Erzetich Audio has been making wired headphones since 2012, and also has a range of headphones amps in its stable to drive these cans.
