Erzetich’s Gold CD is an audiophile offering

HI-FI and headfi enthusiasts are constantly on the search for audiophile-grade recordings, and here’s one to tempt you. Slovenia’s headphone/headamp maker Erzetich has released one titled Gold which, according to the company, is “a compilation of indie music released on an audiophile-grade gold-plated CD, with the aim of contributing to the recognition of outstanding independent musicians and to offer audiophiles a superb music and audio experience.”

The 12 tracks on Gold are by independent musicians who were among several hundred picked after a contest. The compilation’s prerequisites were “music that was superbly recorded and artistic quality of the songs.”

Company owner/founder Blaž Erzetič says: “We manufacture products that let you enjoy the music to its fullest. That’s why we are committed to working closely with the musicians, whether they are independent or famous and established. Our company will always continue to promote the art of music and good sound.”

Songs on the CD cover the pop, rock, blues and new-age genres, and are executed by the likes of Mark Newman, The Inoculated Canaries, The Blue Dolphins, Jordan Paul, Alice Callari, Katie Ainge, The Fairest and Best, Mason Murphy, Lamontt, Tim McNary, Sweet Soubrette and Catherine Duc.

You can order Gold directly from Erzetich for €10 – the non-profit payment is to cover material costs and shipping.
