And now… a Cliffwood phono from VPI

VPI Industries, never a company to stay still these days, now offers the Cliffwood phono preamp to complement its entry-level turntable of the same name.

According to the company statement, “After a lot of positive feedback from our last VPI dealer training, we have brought the VPI Cliffwood phono preamplifier to the market. It will be an MM phono and incorporates the same electronics built into the VPI Player.

“The Cliffwood phono is meant to complement the VPI Cliffwood table, giving the customer the chance to purchase both units to easily start their listening experience. We are not looking to go head-to-head with other companies making electronics. Rather, this is focused on completing the VPI entry-level story for customers to have all the tools they need to listen to their music.”

The Cliffwood phono, available in either black or silver finish, retails for US$500 and is initially available only in the USA. An international version is expected early-to-mid 2018.
